Increasing interest is being shown generally in the complex of subject of noise and its effects; in some factories it has alreday reeceived much attention. Industrial noise may affect not only the occupants of the factory buildings but also persons working or living in the surrounding districts. This study is intended to provide the factory management and the building designger with a brief introduction to the concepts and terminology and to the general principles of noise control. Methods of nose control in the factories are described.
