This exclusively black & white and copiously illustrated paperback survey of 82 major works from 1927 to 1959 was published in 1960 by George Braziller in English on only 128 pages. The introductory part on 21 pages is followed by over 80 pages with 177 illustrations - mainly photos, as well as hard line plans and perspectives, and then by 5 pages with 12 only B&W freehand art sketches. Several pages mainly at the end of book contain a biography, writings, list of works, bibliography, etc. The photos are of very good quality, well balanced, crisp, and legible. Like all from the Masters of World Architecture/Makers of Contemporary Architecture series, it is solid among architectural monographs, while having only slightly bigger and sharper photos than in the comparable Studio
