This is not a work in which to enter into the detailed technicalities of wood ceiling. Many other publications already deal with this. Also these technicalities are unnecessary to the versed expert. Nevertheless, the examples shown in this book may show various solutions for ceilings, which can be employed in, present day building. Since the whole room space is shown as well as the working detail they are meant to prove the cohesion and sympathy of the wood ceilings with the entire interior design concept. A number of the following examples have already been published in the magazine ‘Detail’.
